Country superstar Tim McGraw may have one of the most iconic voices in modern country music, but in a surprising and humble confession, he just revealed the real reason fans haven’t heard an official McGraw-Hill family collaboration — and it’s leaving fans stunned and touched in equal measure.
💬 “I’m the worst singer in the family,” McGraw recently admitted with a laugh. “All of my girls can sing, and of course, Faith is one of the greatest singers in the world. So, I’m the low man on the totem pole.”
The “I Like It, I Love It” singer opened up in an interview with his record label, sharing how Faith Hill and their three daughters — Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey — have voices that completely outshine his own. He didn’t hold back in praising Faith either:
💬 “Singing with Faith’s like a NASCAR trying to keep up with a Formula One race car.”

While the family hasn’t released an official song as a full group, fans have been treated to small glimpses of their talent over the years. Faith and Tim’s 1997 hit “It’s Your Love” remains one of country’s most beloved duets, capturing the couple’s early romance and musical chemistry. That iconic track even featured a secret: Faith was pregnant with their first daughter during the music video shoot — a memory that McGraw says “changed my life.”
More recently, in June 2025, the entire family gave fans an unforgettable surprise at the Music City Rodeo, where Tim — coming off a hiatus due to health issues — returned to the stage for a deeply emotional performance. Together with his three daughters, he sang “Last Dollar (Fly Away)”, and in a powerful moment, an old video played in the background showing the girls as children singing the very same song.

The performance ended in tears, cheers, and a heartfelt family hug — a moment fans are still talking about.
Though a full-fledged McGraw-Hill family album may not be on the horizon just yet, one thing is clear: Tim’s love, admiration, and humility toward his family speak louder than any chart-topping hit. And in that, he proves he’s not just a country star — he’s a class act.
🎤 “I may not be the best singer in the house,” Tim says, “but I’m the luckiest man to be surrounded by their voices — and their love.”
